November is coming and with it our new coffee blending. This month’s coffee is honey coffee, a special Costa Rican roasting full of aroma and tropical flowers specialized by our master roaster, which takes our coffee beans to their limit! The honey coffee roast is a medium roast and, like all of our beans, comes from our estate farm in Tarrazu, Costa Rica.
An interesting fact about the Tarazzu area is that the coffee harvest takes place between the months of December and February. Less than 20,000 people live in the Tarrazu area and at harvest time 30,000 workers from Panama in the south and Nicaragua in the north are hired; the population more than doubles in the harvest season.
Never Surrender is a long Robusto Vitola of our Costa Rican tobacco. It is 5.5X50 and is a medium-strong cigar. It is oily with a great smell to it even before you light this stick. Like its brother sticks it is firm with a great draw. It should last for an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half. It has a very distinguished taste, a little bit spicy along the way, with citrus hints and dark coffee hints. We consider it one of our best cigars and we are enormously proud of it.
The Outlaw is a Gordo 6X60 cigar. Like its brother the Never Surrender it is 100% Costa Rican tobacco and has a similar color. As it is a different Vitola the tastes and aroma create a different balance as the spice kicks in. A citrusy hint with a great draw to it will give you almost two hours of joy from this premium cigar.
The Smoothie, as its name indicates, is a soft, smooth Corona cigar, 6X44, with a great draw. Is there any better way to start your day than with a medium-light roasted coffee and a Smoothie cigar?
The filler is Nicaraguan, and the wrapper is Connecticut Ecuador. As such, it is incredibly soft and easy to smoke. We usually recommend the Smoothie for new cigar smokers or people who like to smoke a cigar that is sweet and easy but full of character.
Hooya is most used to respond to a verbal greeting or as an expression of enthusiasm in the US Navy; we respect that! Hooya is what you will say while smoking this premium cigar. It is a 6X54 torpedo full of aroma and spices. It is a medium-strong stick that you must smoke. The wrapper is Ecuador, the rest is a military secret! Hooya!
Brunet Culebra is a medium-strength cigar. It offers a balanced presentation and pure, defined tastes compared to other Culebras (snakes) in the jungle. It has an aromatic smoke with a light coffee taste some hint of citrus and a great draw. It can be smoked as one cigar or you can separate it and share it, but only with special people! The filler is Costa Rican, Dominican and Nicaraguan. The binder is from Indonesia and the wrapper is Connecticut Ecuador.
